We tried out the public pool for the first time today. We met some friends there and had a great time. The pool was much more interesting than our normal one, since it had a great big baby pool, a regular pool, and diving boards! The friends we met there have 3 little girls, ages 5, 3, and 5 months, so everyone had someone to play with, even Michael. Ashley LOVED jumping off the diving board, and even worked up enough courage to go off the high dive, but the lifeguard said she couldn't wear the lifejacket off that one, so she decided maybe she'd try it next time. Paige worked up the courage to go all the way out to the edge of the low dive SEVERAL times, but never quite managed to jump off. They were pretty brave, I think! We're going to bring James next time and have him waiting in the water to get them. Here are the pics:

First... you are so brave for camping with your kids on the beach. I think that is so cool you did that. Also, I didn't know you were moving here in 2 weeks. Lauren has been sick and somehow we didn't talk about that. I'm so excited you are coming. Let me know what I can do to help you out.
