Pumpkin Patch!

We had a fun day at the pumpkin patch today!

 Douglas saw a pumpkin that was cracked open while we were riding.  So sad! Just kidding!

Douglas' 3rd Birthday!

Dougie turned 3 today!  We started celebrating a little after 6am because he was just SO excited it was finally his birthday.

We went shopping while he was in preschool last week, so each of the kids got to pick out a present for him.  They were all excited to have him open the one they picked out.

I stopped keeping track of all the naughty things Dougie has done this year.  It includes, but is definitely not limited to: covering himself and the floor in chocolate syrup, maple syrup, and peanut butter (twice), dumping flour, sugar, cereal, popcorn, beans, rice, and oatmeal all over the floor and rubbing it all around, drawing on himself/his baby sister/the wall/the floor with lipstick, markers, lipgloss, and mascara, pushing the garage door opener and then running over to and riding the garage door up, unrolling so many rolls of toilet paper, squeezing bottles and bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toothpaste all over the bathroom.  I know I'll think of some more, but this little guy is so busy and frustrating and naughty, but oh so cute and sweet and lovable.  Happy third birthday, Dougie James! : )
