Today, we went to the arts festival downtown and had a great time! The girls had fun doing arts and crafts, listening to music, blowing bubbles, participating in a children's theater show, painting, and playing with clay. The best part of the festival for Ashley was definitely the cultural parade--we chased the Chinese dragon the entire parade route! Paige thought the dragon was interesting as long as I was holding her. It was a fun day!
Well, here we are with a blog! I love reading and looking at pictures on everyone else's blogs, so I figured it was high time we had one of our own. The name was highly debated--actually I thought about it for days didn't come up with much and and James came up with some really creative ones, but we weren't sure anyone would be able to remember them, so here's our compromise. I'm going to resist the temptation to recap the last few years (or even months) of our lives and start right where we are now.
We got some great news over the phone yesterday. We're currently staying in a one bedroom, one bath apartment and recently found a two bedroom, two bath place in a nice part of town that has a dishwasher, disposal (the most unappreciated kitchen appliance ever!), w/d hookups, and a playground and pool. We didn't think we'd be able to move in until the middle of next month, but the apt. lady called and said one came available that we can move into on May 1st! We're excited! The girls have been troopers sharing the kitchen/family room in this place as their bedroom, so we're all looking forward to moving into a bigger place.

"I've had enough!" It was pretty chilly here Easter morning, and Paige was definitely not sticking around any longer.
